A dynamic and effective new workshop for all of you dedicated followers of fascia! This 2 day workshop pulls together the different approaches to low back pain pioneered by the legendary osteopath Jean Pierre Barrall, founder of modern visceral manipulation. These techniques us the sophisticated concept of “listening touch” (tuning into fascial restrictions) together with precise anatomical knowledge to accurately locate the primary causes of pain for effective and precise results.
This workshop will give new skills in the treatment of persistent low back pain.
LEARN
- The concepts of general and local “listening” – the seemingly magical ability to put your hand on someones head and tune into the primary fascial restrictions that are causing the pain condition.
- The different aspects of Left and Right low back pain.
- Palpation and release of arteries connected with LBP
- Visceral manipulation techiques to treat low back pain.
This is a highly practical 2 days with plenty of time for hands on practice of these amazing techniques!

Prerequisites
This workshop is suitable for those with previous fascial experience from the JIng fascial certificate or other trainings. Other manual therapists including osteopaths, physiotherapists, Bowen therapists and chiropractors are also very welcome. Please note the course is NOT suitable for newly qualified massage therapists who only have Swedish massage experience.- we would recommend our 3 day Foundation course for those interested in myofascial work.
