Since I was very young, I have been interested by manual therapy. I often massaged my mother who had chronic lower back pain. However, I did not immediately follow this path.
At first, I went to a business school. Then, I studied cooking in Argentina (another passion of mine). At least but not last, I moved to London where I met Priya. She was a Masseuse and Aromatherapist. She opened my eyes to this profession. It was like a revelation and I started training at the London School of Massage, then in Thailand at Wat Po Massage School in 2015.
Ever since, I have been working as a Professional Massage Therapist providing Swedish, Sports, Traditional Thai, Pregnancy and Reflexology massages. My professional experiences, in France and abroad, have led me to practice in different venues: thermal springs, luxury hotel, massage clinics, etc. It is the diversity of the clientele that have allowed me to perfect my listening touch.
In 2020, I moved to the Loire Valley area in France and started my own company “Massage by Caroline” (big personal challenge!) with this approach: “Each person is unique and must, therefore, receive customized treatment.”. My offer is simple : 100% tailor-made massage!
Anyways, because I love what I do, I always want to learn more. Two years later, I enrolled for the ACMT – Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy Certification at Jing Massage Training, in order to improve my techniques and learn how to treat people with chronic pain.
Throughout the training, I have learned so many things such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, soft tissue release, orthopedic testing, advanced anatomy and pathology, advanced stretching technique, etc. This fusion of techniques brought me to the next level of my practice and gave me the key to assess and help people with chronic ongoing pain.
Today, I’m glad to call myself a Jing Method Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist!
