Description

This two day course will cover the anatomy of this enigmatic muscle and challenge several ideas about its function. The theory component will address the anthropological reasons why we stand and the strong psychosomatic element to this muscle relating to the fear reflex.

The practical component will cover assessment and gentle treatment protocols incorporating orthobionomy, thermal stone as well as ancient eastern healing practices. This is the most comprehensive, evidence-based workshop to be presented for those interested in the Iliopsoas and includes a range of complementary practical techniques and stretches to address a dysfunctional iliopsoas.
