Sue is a professionally qualified and experienced massage therapist and bodyworker with a keen interest in different massage modalities.
She believes in an holistic approach to bodywork and that treatments do not necessarily have to be painful to work. Although some treatment techniques re-create pain patterns, this is always carried out in a careful and respectful way and under client control.
Qualified for over 11 years, her post-graduate bodywork training includes Advanced Clinical Massage for Neck & Shoulder Girdle Pain, Carpal Tunnel & Wrist RSIs, Low Back, Hip & Pelvis, Leg, Knee and Foot Pain, TMJ, Face & Jaw Pain and Advanced Stretching.
Sue has trained in Foundation and Advanced Myofascial Release, Myofascial Release for FMS and CFS/ME, as well as Pregnancy Massage, Indian Head & Shoulder Massage and Hot Stone Fusion Massage. She has also completed a course for Adapting Massage in Palliative Care, which enables her to work with those living with and recovering from cancer.
She continues to learn, both from courses, her fellow therapists and from her clients, in order to improve the outcome of her treatments.
She is a full member of the Complementary Therapists Association and is registered with them for all therapies carried out.
Clinic appointments are available at therapy centres in Caterham, Chaldon and Sanderstead in Surrey and in Crawley, West Sussex.
