Craniosacral Course Brighton

Introduction to Cranio-Sacral Techniques

This course is designed to give you enough cranio-sacral techniques to use as a beautiful stand alone treatment or integrated as a part of you clinical/remedial massage practice.  The objective of this course is to give you a greater understanding of the physical anatomy of the cranio-sacral system and learn how to palpate the rhythm, you will also discuss contraindications.

You will return to your practice with new, easy-on-your-hands skills, and an excellent background for further craniosacral training. One of the great things about CST is that it is non-invasive and works with the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Guest Lecturer: Caroline Barrow has been involved in complementary medicine for over 19 years, initially as a shiatsu practitioner; now she is also a qualified Upledger CST practitioner and experienced in Visceral Manipulation. She has run the College of Body Science for the last 14 years, presenting a variety of advanced anatomy and physiology workshops that are specialised for CAM practitioners. She has extensive experience in teaching, communicating and in making tricky subjects accessible, engaging and fun. She has been running the Upledger Institute UK for the last three years and is keen to promote the unique aspects and benefits of this gentle yet powerful therapy, especially as it can be so easily incorporated into many other types of bodywork.
