Recommended but not required

While the ACMT is a post-graduate stand-alone CPD certificate, we strongly recommend you start your Jing training with the below course. This will give you an excellent grounding in the techniques and methodologies used throughout the ACMT course.

Any questions, please give us a call in the office on 01273 628 942. Always super happy to help!

Foundation in Advanced Clinical Massage Techniques

You will learn:

• Trigger point therapy.
• Myofascial release.
• Powerful deep forearm massage.
• Sports stretching.
• Body mechanics based on Tai Chi principles to protect your back, wrists and thumbs.
• Palpation skills and the power of the ‘listening touch’.
• Table shiatsu – shiatsu basics used on the massage table.

Appropriate for all types of practitioners from the newly qualified to the experienced sports therapist, this hands-on course encourages the creative combination of these techniques in your practice. You will gain confidence in the techniques to treat chronic pain, particularly in the key areas of low back and neck and shoulder pain.
Using these techniques, you will treat more efficiently and effectively. You will work less and get better results for your clients. Building a practice on treating pain will not only increase your business, but also reward you in more ways than you know.

This is a stand-alone CPD course, and also recommended module 1 of the ACMT (advanced clinical massage therapist) certificate and the BTEC level 6 Professional Diploma in advanced clinical and sports massage.
